A messenger of יהוה came down out of heaven said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek יהושע who was impaled. He is not here, for He was raised, as He said. Come, see the place where the Master lay. ” – Miryam from Maḡdala or Mary Magdalene – Arkangel Siete

1 But after the Sabbaths, at the dawning into the first of the Sabbaths (feast of first fruits), Mary the Magdalene and the other Mary came to look upon the grave.
2 And, behold! A great earthquake occurred! For descending from Heaven and coming near, a Cherub of Yahweh rolled away the stone from the door and was sitting on it.
3 And his face was as lightning and his clothing white as snow.
4 And those keeping guard were shaken from the fear of him, and they became as dead.
5 But answering, the Cherub said to the women, You must not fear, for I know that you seek Yahshua who has been crucified.
6 He is not here, for He was raised, as He said. Come see the place where He was lying.
7 And going quickly say to His disciples that He was raised from the dead. And behold! He goes before you into Galilee. You will see Him there.
Behold! I told you.

8 And going away from the tomb quickly, with fear and great joy, they ran to report to His disciples.
9 But as they were going to report to His disciples, behold, Yahshua also met them, saying, Peace unto you! And coming near, they grabbed His feet and worshiped Him.
10 Then Yahshua said to them, Do not fear. Go tell your brothers that they may go into Galilee, and there they will see Me.

11 And they, having gone, behold, some of the guard coming into the city reported to the chief priests all things that occurred.
12 And being assembled with the elders, and taking counsel, they gave enough silver to the soldiers, 13 saying, Say that his disciples came and stole him by night, while we slept.
14 And if this is heard by the governor, we will persuade him and he will not make trouble for you.
15 And taking the silver, they did as they were instructed. And this report was spread by the Jews until today.

16 But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mount where Yahshua appointed them.
17 And seeing Him, they worshiped Him. But some of them doubted.

18 And coming up Yahshua talked with them, saying, All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me.

19 Then having gone, disciple all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son, 20 and the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the completion of the age. Amen.

After the Sabbath after Passover, the resurrection of Jesus Christ

  • The Evolution of the Resurrection (vridar.wordpress.com)
the fact that the Gospel resurrection scenes show a distinct development of details according to the relative dates of the Gospels. Look at how each one appears to build on or surpass what had been written before.
    +
Few scholars are prepared to seriously consider the possibility that Luke and Acts as we know them were products of the mid second century. (There was certainly an earlier version of Luke’s gospel, but there is reason to doubt that in its early form it contained the resurrection details we read in it today. I have posted on this in reviews of Tyson’s work and others on this blog.)
    +
Jesus himself scares them out of their wits by suddenly appearing out of nowhere. Luke’s portrayal of emotional responses is a little more realistic than what we read in John. Jesus then reassures them all by inviting them to touch him, though they seem too coy to actually go that far. He even says they can touch him because “a spirit has not flesh and bones — as you see I have”. So he orders some fish and honeycomb for dinner and then eats it all up while they watch. So he presumably had a stomach and an appetite, too.
  • He is not here, He is risen, just as He said (prhayz.com)
On the third day, a Sunday, some women (Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, Joanna and Salome are all mentioned in the gospel accounts) went to the tomb at dawn to anoint the body of Jesus.
    +
After his resurrection, Jesus appeared to the women near the tomb and afterwards at least twice to the disciples while they had gathered at a house in prayer. He visited two of the disciples on the road to Emmaus, and he also appeared at the Sea of Galilee while some of the disciples were fishing.

  • Book of Matthew: (altruistico.wordpress.com)
The style of the book is  exactly what would be expected of a man who was once a tax  collector. Matthew has a keen interest in accounting (18:23-24;  25:14-15). The book is very orderly and concise.  Rather than write in  chronological order, Matthew arranges this Gospel through six  discussions.
  • Reflections: Got doubts? (goerie.com)
In the days following the resurrection of Jesus, some of his disciples had their doubts about whether it really happened.
    +

During my season of doubting and searching for truth, I learned that it all comes down to Jesus and the resurrection. The Bible says, “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile. … But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead!” (1 Corinthians 15:17, 20).

If Jesus was not resurrected, then he was just another good man who died, and his teachings are nice but not necessarily true. But if Jesus rose from the grave, everything he taught about himself, about God, about heaven and hell, it’s all true!

  • Messianic Fellowships (roshpinaproject.com)
There are many folk, both Jews and Gentiles, who have already taken on these new expressions wholeheartedly. In many cases it has been just a ‘dip in the water’, perhaps an occasional Passover service in the Church hall, or Hebrew lessons at the local synagogue. But others have gone further. Messianic fellowships have been founded, where Jews and Gentiles meet together, with an emphasis given to a Hebraic expression of faith in the teaching, liturgy and worship. They tend to still be predominantly Gentile in the UK, with typically no more than 30% of the membership being from a Jewish background.
