Mark 11:1-6 – At Bethany Looking For a Colt

|| Matthew 21:1-11;[1] Luke 19:28-38; John 12:12-16

MK11:1 Now they came close to Jerusalem, arriving at Bethphage and Bethany not too far from the Mount of Olives. There Jesus sent forward two of his disciples. MK11:2 He told them: “Go your way into that village ahead. As soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tethered on which no person has ever ridden. MK11:3 And if anybody asks you, ‘What are you doing?’ just tell them the Lord needs it, and right away return here.” MK11:4 Then they went their way and found the colt tethered outside a door in the street, and they untied it. MK11:5 Now certain people standing around asked them: “Why are you untying the colt?” MK11:6 So they said exactly what Jesus commanded them and the people let them go.
