Be sound in mind and be vigilant with a view to prayers

7 But the end of all things has drawn close. Therefore, be sound in mind,+ and be vigilant* with a view to prayers.+ (NWT 1 Peter 4:7)

the end {Or, “complete end.” Gr., te′los} of all things has drawn close:

(Matthew 24:33): 33 Likewise also YOU, when YOU see all these things, know that he is near at the doors.+)

(James 5:9): 9 Do not heave sighs* against one another, brothers, so that YOU do not get judged.+ Look! The Judge is standing before the doors.+

(Romans 12:12): 12 Rejoice in the hope. Endure under tribulation.+ Persevere in prayer.+

(Ephesians 6:18): 18 while with every form of prayer+ and supplication you carry on prayer on every occasion in spirit.+ And to that end stay awake, constantly making supplication in behalf of all the holy ones.
